A thin looking elder man looks up from his desk as he hears the door to his shop open. "Ahh, come in come in," he says waving you forward. "It's not often I have visitors in my shop. Can I interest you in a map?"
He leads you over to one of the far tables. As you glance around the shop you notice far more compasses and other assorted equipment and the like then actual maps and realize this is more of a general store then a map store.
"This one," He points to the first map on the table, "I did of Silver leaf when I had to visit the inn to pick up a shipment of ropes." He smiles with pride at the map.
"And over here," he continues, "I did one of a Ylla village I encountered on my way to Silver leaf. They really are interesting creatures, these Yllas."
"This one I did of the forests just outside Raena to the north. Took me a month or so to find my way through that maze. It's my masterpiece." He smiles once more and turns to you. "Interested in buying anything? I know I don't have much, I haven't been very far from Raena. I can't go to chart maps and leave the store unattended, but not many folk here like to travel so I get little business and can't afford to hire an assistant. It's truly a map makers plight, but I'm happy here. So what will it be, wish to buy anything?
